Achievements & Points System

Question

Hey Community,I've been around since the Origin Beta started and I really enjoy the achievements and points system. You would do in-game challenges to unlock achievements and points to show off to your friends that you were a really hard core gamer. It's unfortunate that the points would just sit there though.When I heard about EA Desktop, I was super excited to see what you would do with the achievements and points system but was very much let down when I saw it was removed completely.&nbsp;I really like how with Ubisoft's Connect client they allow you to use those points for things like in-game items such as Skins, XP or even downloadable content like Wallpapers and Soundtracks. You can also use the points as discount on a new purchase.It is very satisfying knowing your hard work gets you something in return.I still believe that EA Desktop should do something like this. Origin Points are exact copy of Xbox Gamerscore and i think it's good that way. Uplay system is fine to but i kinda like to collect the points for the showoff more to be honest then blow it on skins. Also it would be a big turn off for me if they removed achievements from already released games like Uplay did. Honestly i'd just want the current system to be copy pasted over, but whatever changes they make they should make sure it works with all the games that already do support achievements. Also if games that currently don't have achievements got them that would be nice but i understand they don't wanna change the code on 20 year old games. Do not break the current achievements on games that have them, that's honestly the most important part.

I've noticed games have achievement support but would be good to see them back on classic games too.

@beauzinga Points were already there so there's no reason not to bring them back, if they do that I'll be on par with Origin's integration which I'm happy with, I much prefer having points to the dumb Steam style pop-ups. Even further improvements always welcome too tho.
