Example: Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2.Both game offers traditional chinese language, I also played them in this language before I even have Xbox game pass. Now EA Desktop comes, and xbox game pass with EA Play is only accessable through EA Desktop, I'm forced to use it, now here comes the problem.- There are no in-game-setting that can change language- I want to download as Chinese version, however, I can't select the language setting at all. It keeps downloading English version regardless what language I set.- I installed Origin, and try to set language there. Battlefield 1 issue is solved because somehow I own this game without gamepass. But Titanfall 2, I don't own it, I played through Origin Access at that time. And Origin keeps telling me download failed after setting the language.So EA, your team should fix it. And I'm pretty sure you won't fix them in at least 2 years, because look at the forum, how many other critical issues are preventing us using it?

Thanks for your feedback.

The EA app is still in beta (development), which means that it doesn't contain every most common features just yet. Selecting a downloadable language for a game is one of those features. The teams are still working on the app and improvements are being made on a daily basis.

"Most common features" should not include the basic option to CHANGE THE GAME LANGUAGE.
Plus this answer is from February and now, in OCTOBER the situation is exactly the same and we are forced to play in whatever localization your app decided to be set.

@EA_Leeuw I did set up the language preferences to English. Now, my subtitles are in English but not the spoken language. Like..what? Why is it so hard to get the original version of a game (Dragon Age 2)? It shouldn't be an issue at all.

This is not the solution which is good. I read that the APP is now out of Beta so I decision to install it before EA force it on me.
I played sims4 in two language English and German without issue. I could change the language just fine without to deinstall and install again in origin. With the APP I need to uninstall the whole game and reinstall that I can play in another default language.
My English folder was always my more modded folder. My german folder was always my vanilla/light modded game. Sometimes I let play children with my sims4 copy and then I switch always to german because they don’t understand English but now, I can’t just switch language anymore because I need to download first 53 GB that they can play. Please make it possible that we can again switch language without the need to reinstall the whole game.

For now, the only way to change the install langage of a game via the EA app, is by reinstalling the game.
