EA app creates Start Menu root level folder and associated entries on startup
Periodically I fire up the EA app or the Xbox app (which triggers the EA app to start) on my Windows Desktop PC.
When the EA app starts up, it automatically creates an EA folder at the root of my Start Menu and populates it with a few entries. At no point have I been asked for, nor have I given, permission.
I use my Start Menu with Classic Shell - it's more like the XP style. It's VERY organised. I have a separate "Games" subfolder and the EA app lives THERE.
It's annoying to have to keep deleting these root EA entries after every time the app is used.
Creating Start Menu entres and/or Desktop icons without permission is bad etiquette.
I've seen discussions elsewhere about EA doing this from others who are similarly unimpressed.
Dear EA - would you please stop doing this.
