EA APP is utter Garbage
I wasn't a fan of origin back in the day but at least it worked somehow.
With tons of different launchers because publishers think they need them (which is beyond me) we gamers experienced alot of disk space being eaten just for all the different launchers and alot of issues with certain launchers as well that most of the time got fixed by users and not the publishers who forced them upon us. Still it all worked a few days after release or the need to use such a launcher.
Be that as it may, in my almost 40 years on this earth i have never seen a more worthless piece of garbage than this EA APP. Not only is Forced upon everyone who had Origin but the * thing isn't even working 90% of the time.
Downloads start and stop with zero notification on what the problem even is. Games won't start or crash or freeze despite the hardware working correctly. Some games are suddenly gone and appear again like a magic trick from copperfield himself.
If that would not be enough you want to update a game? Awesome. You don't? Bad choice either you update or you can't play. But hold on the download is frozen. Pause and unpause is not working? Nevermind start the entire process again despite the update being stuck on 98% the damn thing starts from 0% again and redownloads the stuff it already downloades. WHY?
Who on earth programmed this garbage and who on earth thought it was a good idea to force everyone to upgrade to this broken piece of garbage in the sorry state it's in?
For a 1,4 GB update i need 5 Minutes on Steam. 20 Minutes if the servers are occupied or my internet has issues. Here i sit 4 hours in and had to restart the entire damn thing for the third time cause god knows what the issue on this broken App is.
Installing an update? Oh my god you must be joking. It takes almost as long as the download gets stuck as well and when you have the problem of the installing not working correctly guess what? It will download and install from 0% again. It takes 3 times from 0% to 100% to get an update installed.

Thats 3 loading screens you get to see when installing an update on this garbage App and whenever it gets stuck or fails for whatever reason (you never get told) The entire process starts from Step 1.
This is beyond ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable for a company this big. I sit here installing an update of 1,4GB in size for FOUR HOURS NOW!
NEVER EVER AGAIN will i buy something that requires this garbage App on my harddrive.
