Restore ability to hide games in library

Since you just closed 4 year old topic suggesting restoring basic functionality (that was present in origin) here I am to create new one.

Please restore ability to hide games or remove them from account. This is very important for games that are demos, betas or no longer available

Why do I have to watch Bejeweled 3 every time I want to find battlefield in my library? Why do I have to watch ea sports madden nfl just because I clicked on wrong tile while I had EA Play and it was instantly added to my account? I cannot even play it, it requires me to purchase subscription again (tile is grayed out) so I really have no idea why is it even visible in my library...

I want to hide all these ugly mistakes and keep my library clean.

It would be plus if I could add tags or group games into custom groups but just this basic functionality of hiding games and optionally removing them from account would be great.

  • Absolutely agree with you. It is disrespectful from EA to lack this basic functionality.

  • Yeah, I agree this should be added as bare minimum basic function for any game storefront app!

  • Is this currently still an issue? Would you be able to send me a photo of how the current UI looks? I am a UX Designer, trying to land a role at EA so I want to redesign some real user issues in hopes I can eventually actually impliment them

Yes, I would like to have "hide" button under "download" button for sketchy games:

I am trying to prototype a solution to this, what do yall think of something like this (right click or control click opens up a menu!)

Looking good! You just did what EA couldn't for years...

EA App, still not as good as the software it replaced (which at the time was considered legendarily bad, aka LOLrigin). The executives that made the decision to make this app in the first place, should all be forced to spend the rest of their lives dealing with EA Chatbot. The coders that wrote it, and apparently "support it", should be thrown in prison for malignant incompetance.
