EA App UNABLE to report player for hacking in BFV, thats a huge issue.

Battlefield 2042

You can report players through the Squad and Players list or through the Social screen in-game.

You can also Block players if you no longer want to be in Squads with them, or to see them in text chat, or hear them in voice chat.

The easiest way to report or block someone is through the Squad and Players list:

1. Open the Pause menu
2. Choose Squad and Players.
3. Select the player’s name on the list.
4. Choose More.
5. If you want to block the player, select Block and then confirm when you’re asked to. Blocked players are also muted for you in voice and text chat.
6. If you want to report them, select Report.
7. Select the option that matches what you need to report.
8. Add information about what you’re reporting into the box and then select Send Report.

That generic answer you guys always post for reporting people is simply not true for the new EA App, how do you guys not know that? In the honestly very broken "Beta" EA App you can't report players for cheating. Yes there is a report button in-game, but the only report options are harrasment, offensive pictures and such. No hacking/cheating. That is a huge issue, especially as the number of active hackers in BFV is enormous. This should really be a priority in the development of the app, it's not that new and a launcher you have to use should not be that beta to be honest.

So uhhhhh how are we supposed to report cheaters now? The instructions that are copy pasta'd responses here in locked threads don't apply anymore. There is no option to report for hacking or cheating on the "EA app"~

Will the EA app support reporting a player for cheating with BF V?

I have installed both apps now EA and Origin, Origin only for reporting cheaters with BF V.

The reason they don't let you report someone for cheating is because they do not care about their older Battlefield games at this point. If they allowed you report players for cheating in older ones then they'd be expected to do something about the cheats, but they don't want to because it's not the latest and greatest and they've stopped providing any sort of support for any of the others. You're lucky they even pretend to care.
