EA Desktop can't repair downloaded game

I've downloaded Titanfall 2 tonight. Now I can't play because the game files are corrupted. I have to uninstall and download all the 48GB again because there isn't an option to check game files and r...

It is rather inconvenient that the only option for repairing an installation on EA Desktop is to reinstall the program.  This can take hours to a day or so depending on the size, where as on Origin the option is there.  This would work but for EA Play games that you have access to on EA Desktop, Origin does not recognize and therefor does not give the option to repair even though it is installed.

        Hey @saltyseapearl the option to repair games on the EA app has been there for some time now.

    the repair doesn't fix the games shows up as down loaded they don't show up and desktop and the kits still not in game
