Same issue here with the latest Apex update. I couldn't launch Apex due to the same error as shown above and no option to Repair in EA App. I had to install Origin and run the Repair from there. Luckily, Origin detected the already installed game so I didn't have to reinstall completely, just Repair from origin.
how do I reinstall origin?
