EA Desktop client custom installation folder

HI, sorry to hear that. In the end I created a folder called D:\Games and just typed the path into the bank dialogue box, not ideal but at least you can play.

I would imagine if you paid them £4.99 they might give you a lucky loot box containing the drive path you need to install!

Have these features been implemented yet? I've been checking the Trello page, but its hard to keep track/know if this issue in particular has been addressed (especially the whole auto-install upon double clicking installer, and anyone could misuse this).

My only problem is that you have to set it 2 times.  Because it asks 2 times and at the second time it changed back to default.

Are you changing the install location from the pop-up that EA_Jason mentioned in his earlier post, or are you changing it through the EA App settings? 

Hi. I tried it from the EA Deasktop. But never mind. I found out the nor Need for Speed Rivals, nor Need for speed Most want does save game so I contacted EA and talked with theam that I found that out and that I couldn't found my savegame progress in the game, then  asked them if it's possible to transfer my savegames from Origin to the EA AP and they told me it's impossible to transfer my Origin savegames to EA App. So I just gave it up because I don't wanna start it over what I played already.

Install options only gives you the choice of which directory your games will get downloaded and then installed to, not the desktop app.

Origin app lets you choose where it goes, and it works fine. Why the change in policy? You don't know how my hardware is set up, so leave the choice to me!
