I must admit, with one year we should already have a stable EA Desktop, instead we still in BETA with barely any progress to speak off.
I could make a better job in a month alone, while EA has multiple developers getting paid and this is what we get. At least they could have added support to our library by now, but EA Desktop is still missing half my games, that alone is ridiculous.
But in contrast to OP, I disagree entirely with Steam, their developer team is as bad as here, the Steam updates are extremely poor, take years to implement, and the Steam is a mix of old and new APIs, with half the client still waiting to get updated.
Not to mention Steam just slapped a Chrome framework on the client, is the most lazy way to develop a Desktop client and is poorly optimized.
- tyl04133 years agoSeasoned Veteran@IKobi_Blade Honestly I don't mind, since they don't wanna cancel it this is the next best thing so i can keep using Origin for a good while as there's no way im switching to this. Not like I even could as it still refuses to open at all no matter what on my gaming PC, it never worked and idk if it ever will so i hope they just let me use Origin forever.
