Filter, Hide or Remove Games From Library

Its actually crazy that a simple Hide game feature still does not exist when people have been asking for it on this thread for well over a year. The amount of time you guys have put into writing replies to this thread and still not implemented this is baffling. People do not want to look at old obsolete and trial version of games they no longer use in their library. How is there still no way to filter your games other than installed/uninstalled? especially when origin had these features for years. I contacted support earlier today and they were able to remove some free to play games from my library but could not remove a trial version of a game. I honestly cannot believe this level of incompetence is possible in this day and age

I just wanted to remove unavailable games that I added back when I had EA Play sub active but couldnt find an option to do so. Turns out EA never thought you may want to remove that unavailable Fifa 22 you tried couple years ago.

3 years have passed and this feature is still not added to EA APP. You forced removal of origin but did not care enough to add basic features which were present in origin for years. Good job....

It is such a SHAME and DISRESPECT to your CUSTOMERS to miss a basic HIDE of the games from library.

It's certainly taking a long time! Starting to doubt it will ever become reality. A shame, I like a tidy and smallish app screen. 

One useful function is to show installed games only. That works fine, but better would be able to totally hide stuff that is no longer relevant.

Helloooooooo .... Hide, Filter ... over 3 years now ??? Fix it, Add it, implement it ......

Good topic. BTW on Steam it is possible in two ways. Firstly we can hide games, so you never see them. But to really get rid of them and have no chance of ever coming across them again there is an option buried in the "my account settings," menu that allows you to "disassociate," anything from your account.

It really does that. Ownership of license is forfeit so what to play again? Buy again!

I did this with a few truely hidieous monstrosoties that didn't deserve the to be called games. Rightly enough, everything was gone. Except a couple of registry keys which were orhaned. Not that it matters. Cleaning orhpaned keys won't speed anything up unless you have 10s of thousands which is highly unlikely! 

EDIT: I just noticed most of the posts here are years old including one from me even 3 years ago. I ended up liking a few 4 year old posts LOL.
