FPS counter when?

I noticed the EA Desktop app still doesnt have an FPS counter setting like Origin, any plans on adding it to EA app soon?

  • Hey @SilentReaprr Thanks for taking a moment to share your feedback about the new EA App, we are still working on the client so I would be happy to pass this feedback along to the team.

    Hey man, thanks!!

That's is a real good one! Seems you know the EA Desktop App better than

EA themselves - Unreal, but great post @ THOR!

  • Indeed. I have been on about this since the dubious EA App replaced Origin (which IMO was better). Not only me, quite a few requests for this basic function for ages.

I gave up, and use my (new) monitors fps built in counter. Mostly I use Steam and use their simple but very adequate fps counter as my monitors is rather bright for my tastes.

I think they don't know how to integrate it. The app, bare bones as it is crashes at times (many times for some folks) which is not acceptable. Can't figure out why they can't

stabalize it, and add a few quality of life features, (like an FPS counter).

It doesn't make sense that such a large company is incapable of giving us gamers a few extra features basic features.

Even worse, the whole platform is not fully stable yet! I mentioned before, but the app is bare bones and was released quite a while back now. But still sub par.

I know exactly how you feel. After being a member of these forums for a while, I do enjoy reading members posts, like yours too.

I am writing because I think they probably do get looked at by the site hosts. The problem is usually looking, doesn't result in a reply.

However, there are many helpful members here and stuff does get figured out.

Sadly on this topic and I can't offer any insight. It's baffling that such topics seem to be ingnored.

But, there is hope, seriously. Other posters do in fact provide answers from time to time. Clever members here.

But on this thread. I've given up totally. One bright spot is that the app does have a measure of stability now as long it is used for

only for the basic functions. It's easily confused, still.

TBH, I don't really mind now. Treat EA app with kids gloves, make sure your data is accurate, to the point, verified and the games usually work as they should.

    Cheers!
