Game sharing/offline mode

the EA app has officially left its open beta phase and will soon replace Origin as EA's primary PC platform

I am guessing that means eventually it won't be possible to play games through Origin at all, and the EA app still doesn't have an offline mode or any way to share games with other people like Steam has.

Will game sharing or family sharing (similar to what Steam has) be coming to the EA app?

With origin it was possible to play a game in offline mode while another user is playing online with that account.

With the EA app, it's not possible to play from the same account on 2 devices at the same time, even if one is in offline mode, as far as I know.

Even the possibility to share certain games (or entire library) with a few linked accounts would be cool.

    Hey @DARKNESS470 game sharing is not something that the EA app or Origin supports.

    Allowing someone else access to your account in the way you describe to play your games can result in your account being actioned.

    Is this some fricking joke?

    So I'm paying you almost 200 annually, now my son is old enough, so I can share my games with him, and you are saying that my under-age kid should pay another 200?

    Are you * * * * * * * kidding me, Darko?

    I agree, no parent wants to pay twice for something they already have when they can just share with their under-age child. I think this security stuff is just too much; I get hacking happens, but let the user decide what safety measures they want. The company shouldn't decide for them.

    @EA_Darko If you think for one sloppy second that you're going to take action against anyone's account after the crap EA has put us through over the years without any form of legal reprisal, you're in another reality.
