Lack of Actual Support to Help Customers
Ultimate Battle Pass Purchase through Website
I purchased the Apex Legends ultimate battle pass through the EA website and over 24 hours later, still have yet to receive it. The payment went through IMMEDIATELY; I was charged after the completion of purchase.
EA Help / Support Issue
The bot available on the website has scripted unhelpful information, directing you to irrelevant pages, and is unable to provide anything valuable. Live support with advisors is a removed / disabled feature, so one is unable to get proper assistance.
Contacted support through the website, to which they responded to my issue 18 hours later, requesting something to do with verification. I replied with the correct response 7 minutes later to this (with the requested verification code etc.). No response back to that 7 hours later. And still no battle pass that I paid for. There is no other solution
A simple search on google can show you a flood of reviews pointing out this problem of just how frustrating dealing with EA support, and not to mention all of the forum posts pointing these out, yet they are closed. From my experience, with an issue still in progress, even with me responding IMMEDIATELY after their email, is that customer support is very low down on the priority list
Solution
Re-open live advisor chat, as the current support is clearly inadequate, and not working. If they were attentive enough to respond timelier to cases, that would be a different story, or even to finish a case before having yet another several hours pass.
