No option to uninstall games after EA play expired

When your "EA Play" expires, your games are removed from "My Collection". This means that right now it isn't possible to uninstall the games you played via your (expired) "EA Play" subscription using the EA Desktop app.

I can understand that the game is being removed from "My Collection", but i.m.h.o. there is a better option: "lock" these games instead of removing them from the list.

It would be better to make a section under "My Collection" or something where you can still find these games. These games would be "locked" but with the option to either buy them or subscribe to EA Play again and to have the 3 dots with the options "Open install folder" and "Uninstall".

On top of that, currently it also removes all the tracked data like the amount of hours you played a certain game.

  • Hey @ActionBrother,

I appreciate the feedback that you share regarding the EA Desktop. They indeed sounds like some valid QOL changes to the EA Desktop app. I'll make sure to pass them on to the teams.

Yeah, you were right to point that out. I have never used EA play, so wouldn't know.

All I can say is that for PURCHASED games, it works. Usually in the app, if not it opens the windows programs and features, uninstall a program menu in the Settings app.

Finally, I am using Windows 10.

Next time I'll read the thread title properly. Sorry about this.

The solution that I came up with was going to "App & features" that is available in the windows settings and searched for the game there.
