Option to invite a friend without overlay!?
I don't use origin or EA app in-game overlay. Sometimes it makes problems with game's performance. In Origin there was an option to invite a friend, without overlay -> minimize game, open Origin win...

The launch of EA Desktop has been so frustrating.
The ability to play games, and sometimes play them with friends is the only thing I want out of it. I have my overlay turned on, but it doesn't work. The end result is the same - you can't invite friends if the overlay is busted. There is no option to invite a friend to join you from the friends list. Your only option is to launch the same game they are playing... you just can't play with them.
