Option to invite a friend without overlay!?

I found out how you can invite on bf2 without having overlay on so your mouse will work. have the person getting the invite tab out of the game so it is minimized, then send the invite through the bf2 social menu. in the notification bar or pop up(if you have pop ups enabled) of the task bar there will be an invite that will put you in a group.
