Origin had "Locate Game". EA App is missing this functionality

In Origin there was a Locate Game functionality. We navigate to a pre-installed game data folder and it starts verifying.

In EA App, there is no Locate Game functionality. However we can install into a pre-installed game data folder and it starts "Pre-loading" which is similar to verifying.

However, this method does an initial hard disk free space check. Please remove this free space check. I keep my games on an external USB HDD with little free space. However, everytime I connect my external HDD, it is assigned a different drive letter. This forces me to "Locate Game". However, EA App can't continue because it says I have no free disk space.

Please remove the free disk space check upon installing into a folder. Or at least give us back "Locate Game" functionality like how it was in Origin.
