Hello, I am also having the same issue, but when I try to download the EA app it comes up with, "Something went wrong... The EA app encountered an error and couldn't finish installing."
Does anybody know how to fix this issue, or if it is even worth it to play the Sims 4 on? it is honestly pretty frustrating because Origin worked perfectly fine for me, and now I am being forced to switch?!
I get that after I try and login as well. This is sad! I've been in contact with EA tech support by phone, called twice on Friday morning and afternoon when things they told me to try failed. I called again on Saturday, and she then said try uninstalling my games and EA and Origin and reinstall them, which was a big mistake which in turn upset me more. Then I even tried to do a restore to earlier time and all it did was remove my Origin, and replace it with this so called EA App garbo.
Yes i have that too, I have no idea how to close this down I have contacted EA four times now in two days they told me to reboot my computer, which i did still it did nothing I really don't want to uninstall Origin I love it to much, why this now just leave Origin as it is and stop annoying me with this i'm also scared, because i don't know where my mods would go and i know my way Origin like my house, why this though?
I had no choice but to install EA ☹️
