Pop-up in Origin about EA app which can't be closed

Hi everyone. I have been playing Sims 3 through Origin for many years now, but today am having issues. When I open Origin I get a message pop up which says "The EA app is your new home for PC gaming....

The EA App sucks *, bring back origin and get this * pop up outta the way.

@Theometer Agree with you. I cant install EA app because of error and cant launch games because of ea app ads in origin. Nice one EA.
