I suspect I can see where this is heading, and that's to a Subscription based model, forcing everyone to pay for access, even to CONTENT already PAID FOR!
I hate such a business model with an absolute passion, and it has caused me to dump many Applications over the years because of such a switch.
The EA App is the thin end of a bigger wedge.
But it doesn't even work, and now it is denying people access to PAID FOR CONTENT.
It was bad enough when they first rolled this out, but at least they pulled it after all of the complaints, and allowed people to keep using the existing Origin Login.
But to roll the broken EA App out a second time, as bad as the first, is a lesson in incompetence, or arrogance, or both.
I have not been able to launch any on ea app for a while so I went back to origin, now with the pop up I can only use ea app which yes still won’t launch game “something went wrong on our side try again later”? None of the work arounds have worked for me so I can’t play what I’ve paid for. The games launched fine on origin, I don’t get it?
