This is just one small symptom of the widespread collusion and abuse of market power.
I will be filing a complain with the FTC as well as writing my Congressional representatives to demand they START holding these out of control corporations accountable I know it's a pain, but I highly recommend everyone who feels that these tactics are deliberate to file a complain with your local BBB as well as filing a complaint with the FTC:
They clearly don't care about their customers, much less provide adequate GOOD FAITH support. No, it is NOT acceptable to withhold support because you think someone isn't being "respectful," as I saw in posts from support in this thread. I have decades of customer and technical support experience, including management, and such a statement from even one of my tier 1 agents would require immediate coaching, retraining, and likely would be a writeup and warning for job avoidance. I spent my last 10 in hospitality (hotels), and that sort of response may well have gotten someone fired in that environment. No, you don't have to take personal abuse, but trying to be the tone police to get out of support is just ridiculously horrible support.
