It amazes me that a company this influential and wealthy can develop an app that can prevent me from downloading games, viewing my game library, and launching my games. It is inexcusable. I didn't get around to actually writing this feedback down because I still had the option of using Origin, which wasn't the best gaming app, but it did its job. You could view your games, and launch them without issue. All of a sudden, they forced me to use their grotesque new EA App to play their games, but funny enough they couldn't get me to, because I CAN'T PLAY MY GAMES TO BEGIN WITH. I have tried every single troubleshoot fix on this forum, and yet none of them work. I have reinstalled the app several times, changed my game directory, changed my antivirus settings, changed my application launch settings, and I have even reinstalled Windows at least three times to see if it was just me. The worst part of it all is the feedback from the EA community team. The live chat service gives the absolute worst support, and the forum posts are almost never responded to, and if they are responded to, the support team will mark their "solutions" as accepted, when THEY DON'T WORK. It is absolutely deplorable what this company is doing.

Yea we have been screaming into the void for about a year now with this trash fire. The only response you are likely to get is a threat of ban if you hurt someone’s feelings. This sector of the forum is just ignored because honestly they don’t care.

In the same boat, Sims 4 will not start due to being unable to connect the app. Been troubleshooting for months, until I gave up and decided to go back to Sims 3. Sims 3 install gets halfway through the packs and download freezes. For the love of god just let us use Origin again.

@ImSidi EA app should be an example for BBB precedent.

I completely agree and have never seen a horrible app in my life. Over the years I must have bought C&C ten separate times no joke, from the original discs and replacements, to software downloads over the years. Now I have the app and paid for it, but half the time it won't connect. I selected to play offline but when you reboot your computer you have to connect to the internet and until you do that the game won't work. I often travel and sometimes don't have internet for over a week in some locations which means I can't play at all. It's absolutely ridiculous and I can't believe they've made it so difficult.

Same problem bought the command and conquer games on e bay. Had to install origin everthing worked fine then some * at EA decides to get rid of a * app(origin) that works for an even * app (EA) that doesnt even work. Try getting help off ea support (lack of support) 🤣

Same problem here, paying for EA Play Pro as well and tried everything now. It's just disgracefull that this app is so * it doesn't work...... But probably EA won't change a thing about it.

I hate how I have fast wifi speeds yet it downloads at a snails pace of average 15 - 52KB instead of what my speeds are, an update of around 2.64GB should only be taking a minute or 2 not a few hrs.. steam is so much better, don't have that issue there. go to load up BF2042... update.. wait a few hrs then stop it till the next day or so, then takes forever to apply the update. I just want to play the damn game
