The New EA App is The Worst Gaming App Ever

It amazes me that a company this influential and wealthy can develop an app that can prevent me from downloading games, viewing my game library, and launching my games. It is inexcusable. I didn't get around to actually writing this feedback down because I still had the option of using Origin, which wasn't the best gaming app, but it did its job. You could view your games, and launch them without issue. All of a sudden, they forced me to use their grotesque new EA App to play their games, but funny enough they couldn't get me to, because I CAN'T PLAY MY GAMES TO BEGIN WITH. I have tried every single troubleshoot fix on this forum, and yet none of them work. I have reinstalled the app several times, changed my game directory, changed my antivirus settings, changed my application launch settings, and I have even reinstalled Windows at least three times to see if it was just me. The worst part of it all is the feedback from the EA community team. The live chat service gives the absolute worst support, and the forum posts are almost never responded to, and if they are responded to, the support team will mark their "solutions" as accepted, when THEY DON'T WORK. It is absolutely deplorable what this company is doing.

    This app is an experiment to check how low they can go with customer service.

    As in could we NOT provide a service and have people still pay us.

    I mean, it's a brilliant strategy. Provide nothing and get something in return.

    I am pretty sure EA is working on a perpetuum mobile device.

    @ImSidi I made an account today specifically to voice my problems with this. Trying to do anything with the EA launcher basically holds my desktop hostage as nothing else will function, everything freezes and it has caused my desktop to crash multiple times. This was not a problem a few months ago but I came back to install a game, and immediately this. I refuse to buy any more EA games or give them a single cent from this point forward until they fix these issues, as now I can't even play the games I paid for. Thankfully, there is an alternative, and as Newell put it "it's a service problem."

    I haven't player ME in a long time, but got very nostalgic so decided to play it, I own ME 1 & 2 on Steam, and they have absolutely NO problems, even though I am forced to launch ME2 through the ea crapp, Steam makes sure it works. Unfortunately I cant play 3 or Andromeda because of how full of S&$# this crapp is, now I will never buy another game from this garbage company again, and I will DEFINITELY NOT recommend them to ANYONE!! I never thought I would miss the Origin app, but at least that dumpster fire allowed me to play my games...
