Unable to install BF2042 from EA Desktop

Hi,

I'm unable to install BF2042 through EA Desktop.

I preordered the Gold Edition months ago, then cancelled my preorder in order to preorder the standard edition. I preloaded the game through Origin on my SSD (not my C: drive).

Days ago, I got Xbox Game Pass, so I installed EA Desktop, knowing I should be able to play the game by now with EA Play sub from the Game Pass.

Everytime I try to install the game, I choose to install it on the folder where I already preloaded the game, but an error popup shows : Unable to install - There was a slight hiccup and we couldn’t finish installing Game Name Unavailable. Restart your PC and try again.

    Again, it's not.

    I have not bought my game from a thrird party retailer. This issue is there when you buy BF2042 from Origin after cancelling the pre-order from Origin.

    Please stop refusing to acknowledge the issue.
