Booting up any Battlefield game mutes headphones until I close it.

Every time I boot up Battlefield 4/1 it mutes my headphone on all apps on the computer (music, youtube, etc) until I close the game. I know a way to fix it, but it only works with wired headphones an...

Hey @LawlessOffice sounds like you're running into a system issue, testing this right now and not able to recreate it.


Have you ensured that you have disabled handsfree telephony from within Windows?

Try this:

Open Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Devices and Printers

Find your headset

Select Properties and go to Services

Uncheck  “Handsfree Telephony”

Test game

This worked for an issue where in multiplayer and some single player games within PVZGW2 you couldn't hear anything on PC when you were in the game, thank you.
