Why does the EA app display "Games have been removed from your library"?
Hey everyone, Thank you all for expressing your concerns about the "Games have been removed from your library" notification in the EA app (see below). We want to assure you that this feature is often* functioning as intended. Its recent implementation aims to reduce the number of inquiries about missing games or DLCs and provide clarity on why such items have been removed from your library. By clicking on the "VIEW DETAILS" button on the right side of the message, you can see a list of all the games that have been removed and the respective reasons for their removal. *It's important to understand that this scenario can also be triggered by a valid, temporary issue. When or if this happens, we will confirm this in the thread. Please see the 'Resolved TEMPORARY Outages Resulting in the Same Error' section below for further details. These reasons may include, but are not limited to: Expiration of an EA Play membership, Sunset of games due to discontinued online services, Removal of games due to fraudulent activities, And more. Often, the message providing the reason for removal includes a link to an EA Help article explaining the rationale behind it. For sunset games, please see our EA Help article about older EA games that aren't available. For games removed from EA Play, please see The Play List Removals. If you encounter the message "Unlisted reason" when viewing the details, it could be due to various factors, such as: The game no longer being available in EA Play, Sunset of the game, Payment issues, Problems with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (XGPU) x EA Play connection (if you use this), Voluntary removal by the account holder or parent, Billing issues, Or self-removal of the game from the account when it was previously claimed via EA Play (a feature previously available in Origin for PC but not in the EA app). Hello, In the old Origin app I could select the option to launch the Origin app Library by default. But here as you can see the Library tab does not open by default and there's no settings within the application. Instead it is the Home tab with the store that launches in the background. I would like only the Library to open when launching the EA App like how it was before with Origin. Even Steam lets me open the Library by default. If I unlink an existing EA ID (with a FC25 profile) from a PlayStation Network account, can I afterwards connect the same EA ID to a new PlayStation network account without loosing the FC25 team/players? How long is this APP going to stay in BETA? (For the rest of its life?) I cant believe there is still no Move game game function yet. Its been 1 - 1.5 years now since this app released. Most time not a big issue as I can usually just hop onto Origin and move them from there. But some games through EA Play membership do not show up on Origin: Jedi Fallen Order, this is my issue right now. I want to move the game to my D: drive (SSD) I thought i could copy the game folder, un install the game. start the download to my new location, pause, exit EA play. Paste the copied Game folder, over write the started install. Start EA Play, but this does not work, as when eaplay downloads files, they are place holder files with longer filenames, while downloading. im experiencing an issue where my friends list only shows 99 friends even though i have more than 100 friends on my account. i tried refreshing logging out reinstalling the EA app and even checked from another account but it still shows only 99 friends it seems like this is a bug with the EA App itself not just my account is anyone else facing the same issue with the friends list showing only 99 friends please look into this and let us know if there’s a fix or if a future update will solve it ThanksSolved104Views3likes3Comments
