Game license is invalid
Please stop deleting/moving my post and actually help me!!!!! When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache." I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected. I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help. I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.2.9KViews10likes61CommentsWhy is there no option to Move a game to a different location??
How long is this APP going to stay in BETA? (For the rest of its life?) I cant believe there is still no Move game game function yet. Its been 1 - 1.5 years now since this app released. Most time not a big issue as I can usually just hop onto Origin and move them from there. But some games through EA Play membership do not show up on Origin: Jedi Fallen Order, this is my issue right now. I want to move the game to my D: drive (SSD) I thought i could copy the game folder, un install the game. start the download to my new location, pause, exit EA play. Paste the copied Game folder, over write the started install. Start EA Play, but this does not work, as when eaplay downloads files, they are place holder files with longer filenames, while downloading. So it seems ea does not check for existing installs Is there another work around here? or am I just going to have to re download it.Solved20KViews8likes5Commentsı have ban

im experiencing an issue where my friends list only shows 99 friends even though i have more than 100 friends on my account. i tried refreshing logging out reinstalling the EA app and even checked from another account but it still shows only 99 friends it seems like this is a bug with the EA App itself not just my account is anyone else facing the same issue with the friends list showing only 99 friends please look into this and let us know if there’s a fix or if a future update will solve it Thanks83Views3likes3CommentsWill I Lose EA Games or DLC Bought on Epic if EA and Epic Cut Ties?
Hello, I’ve bought several EA games and DLC through the Epic Games Store, and they launch via the EA App. I’d like to know: 👉 If Epic and EA were to end their partnership in the future, will I still be able to launch and play the EA games or DLC I purchased through Epic, assuming my Epic and EA accounts are still linked? 👉 Or could I lose the ability to access and play those games or DLC, even though I purchased them legally through Epic Games? I want to ensure I don’t lose access to the games I paid for. I’m not asking about refund policies, just whether ownership and playability would still be supported under my EA account if the partnership ends. Thanks in advance for clarifying.15Views0likes0CommentsAdding my Adult Sister to my EA Family
I've spent more money on The Sims franchise than most people spend on rent. And I think I should be able to share what I paid for with my family; whether they're my children or not. I've been sharing my account with my sister for as long as I've been playing the Sims, but now if I don't want our game files mixing together, she needs her own account. Now, I'm in my 30's, and my sister is three years younger than me, which makes her unquestionably an adult. Now, I could lie and add her to the family by faking the year she was born, but there's only a five-year window before that stops working. And personally, I don't feel like having to check to make sure my sister's fake age is still within range for her to play my stuff. I've been trying to find a way to talk to an actual person through EA about this. I know that the company wants my sister to have to pay for each and every pack that she wants to play. But in my mind, why spend the money twice if someone in the family already owns what's being bought? I'm honestly willing to talk to whoever I need to in order for this to work in my favor. I'm not about to make my sister choose between college, her car, and a game. And I sure as heck can't afford to buy everything twice; I can barely afford to buy it once. So, how can I add my Adult Sister to my EA Family so I don't have to deal with this? I've heard through the grapevine that she has to "purchase" two games before we can sync. Does it have to be a purchase of a certain amount, or can I just download the base game and Grims Guitar and call it a day? Is this even true?Solved498Views0likes2CommentsStar wars does not start in Steam via EA
I bought Star Wars Battlefront II in steam, but I needed to download EA, and for some reason when I click the play button in steam, the game doesn't start and nothing happens at all, and in EA itself I didn't even know where to launch it, I stupidly don't have this function.27Views0likes0Comments
