Do I have to keep origin installed if I have the EA desktop app? I feel it would be rather pointless to keep origin if I have the EA desktop. If I can delete Origin, then will I have to reinstall my games and will I lose progress on games like Apex Legends? Thank you in advance!

Yep, @crinrict explained it well. We're still hard at work to shape the experience of EA Desktop. Some features are missing, and sometimes you may encounter an issue. We recommend to keep Origin installed, so you can easily switch if you need to.

and what can i do if i have EA Play from xbox game pass and my games from it don't show on the origin? Beacuse my titanfall 2 stopped working and i can't repair it beacuse it don't show on the Origin EDIT: sorry for writing it in this thread but first time using this forum
Then why did the EA App uninstall Origin without asking me??
