Can't set install location for EA Play games

It defaults to the C: Drive, but won't let me change it to any other. Just a blank window with the option to "select folder" but no alternatives.

  • I created a new folder on my D:\ drive called "EA Games", then I boot op EA Desktop, select the game that I want to download and then select D:\EA Games to download games in.

If you're having issues with setting a custom location for your games, then this might be a good way to go about it.

@EA_Jason same problem. In the settings menu I cannot select the folder. Its just blank for the folder tree. This is a bug in the app. Please report this to development. Thanks. Make some more testing on EA!

I have reported it @jassottelu and the team is aware.

For now I would suggest using this topic for issues with setting the install location. I'll lock this one to prevent duplicate topics.
