Can't update Battlefield 1 using EA Desktop

I downloaded BF1 using EA Desktop and I was able to play, but the game asked me for updates.

I closed the game and the launcher didn't showed me any updates, so I closed the launcher too.

When I restarted it, the game began to prepare files to update but it never starts. I've been restarting my PC and launcher for almost 2 hours and it doesn't do anything. It's like is downloading or loading something, but when I open the Task Manager, the launcher is not consuming bandwidth or any resources.

Can someone help me out with this please?
