EA verification Code

So my steam was linked to the wrong EA account, I have unlinked it(after it taking forever to get verification codes on that account in my email. I am trying to link the correct one and I am not getting the verification codes in my email. Anyone have a fix for this or is it just because of the BF6 Beta causing the delay/lack of receiving email?
