Unable to validate account
I have my child’s account that shows the parental account email address is incorrect. It is misspelled and wasn’t even a valid email address when the ea account was created. I’ve since identified the invalid email address name but cannot log in because the account needs to be verified. The original verification email address failed to send because it wasn’t a valid email address. Now that I’ve created the misspelled email address and set the password. I’m unable to login because it hasn’t been initially validated. I need the initial validation email resent so I can request the parent email address updated to an email account I monitor. This account I’m logged into is my personal ea account and is the only way I can post for support. The support on the chat feature is unwilling to help me and said this is the only other option besides my son having to create a new psn and start all of his games over from scratch.EA account hacked - email changed, Steam still accessible
Hi EA team, my EA account has been compromised and the email address was changed without my permission. When I try to sign in using Steam, EA asks me to verify my identity by sending a code to an email address that does not belong to me, which means I am completely locked out. I still have full access to my Steam account, which is linked to this EA account, and this should help confirm ownership. I cannot receive verification codes because they are being sent to the attacker’s email. I have not unlinked Steam and I have not created a new EA account. I am requesting help with account recovery, restoring my correct email address, and securing the account. I have already tried using EA Help but cannot complete verification due to the email change. After checking further, I noticed that my Hotmail account was also temporarily locked due to suspicious activity. So I don’t know if I’ve done it wrong or what but I’ve played Battlefield 6 on Xbox originally and had some buddies that play PC and I was wanting to play with them so got BF6 on PC and was hoping I could just transfer my progress over from Xbox but when I linked my account it wiped my Xbox progression. I don’t know if I just didn’t sign into my account when loading up battlefield or what but I’m wondering if there is a way to unlink the accounts so I could at the very least keep my Xbox progress and just start new on PC.
