My account was made in 2007 I've moved house and changed my phone since then I've provided IP address old address and transaction details. I can log into my account using PlayStation but as far as that I can't change my email or access my information. What can I do now the support channels won't connect me to anyone higher im seriously lost any help would be appreciated thanks.Solved2.8KViews0likes11CommentsNot Receiving Verification Codes by Email or SMS
Hello, I am having trouble accessing my old EA account because I am not receiving the verification codes required to log in. I created this EA account approximately five years ago and used it mainly for Apex Legends. I originally played Apex Legends on PS4 during the Origin era, and later moved to PC using the same EA account. For the past two to three years, I have been unable to log in because I do not receive verification codes. I have tried both email and SMS verification, but neither method works. I still have access to both the email address and phone number associated with the account. I have also checked my spam and junk folders, but the verification emails do not arrive. Recently, I was able to log into Apex Legends on my PS4 and confirmed that the account still contains content that I remember using on PC, including PC-era skins. This makes me believe that my old Apex Legends progress and purchases are still associated with this EA account. I would like to recover access to this account. Ideally, I would like to change the email address associated with the account to a new email address that I can use to receive verification codes. I understand that I should not post my personal information publicly, so I have intentionally not included my email address or phone number in this post. I am happy to provide those details privately to an EA Advisor if necessary for account ownership verification. One more thing: I had to log in with a different EA account in order to make this forum post, since I cannot access my original EA account. The EA account I am currently using to post this is not the account I am trying to recover. Could an EA Advisor please advise me on the best way to recover my original account or change the email address associated with it? I am happy to provide any information necessary to verify that I am the owner of the account. Thank you for your help.10Views0likes0CommentsSo let me get this straight EA
Someone hacks my account, changes my email address without my knowlege or consent, links a bunch of things on there that i have absolutely no idea about (like links an xbox account and a nintendo account adds games on there that i do NOT own and have no intention of EVER owning like apex or a soccer game) gets access to my battlefront II game. does all kinds of shady things like cheating and what not that get me banned from my account that im not even accessed to back in january 2025 a couple weeks after i last played the game. doesnt send me any email regarding this (because again account got hacked an email got deleted) and almost 2 years later when i decide to hop back on again i find out i cant cause im banned and had to get back access to my account and yet DESPITE ALL OF THAT, you wont remove the ban on my account!?! and it takes me having to use a back up account to go on a public forum just to hopefully get the ball moving and have an actual human address my case???49Views0likes2CommentsAfter getting my account hacked my account was banned.
I had my email hacked 4 years ago and the only thing I lost from it was my EA account. The only thing I would like is to unlink my steam account from my old EA account ( this is a new account). The reason for the bad is "Compromised EA Account". The other person that logged in didn't even play any games or change anything. There is no reason for the account to be perm banned.20Views0likes3CommentsEA support changed my username/EA ID and now doesn't want to change it back.
Approximately a week ago I got hit with a hacking attempt. They managed to get into my EA account but luckily I was able to change my password quick enough that they couldn't do much. The one thing they managed to do before I was able to log them off was change my email address to theirs so they could get back in if needed I guess. Obviously this was a security issue; I wanted to change that email address to one of mine again but couldn't do so because I "recently changed my email address". So I had to contact support to have that done. They were happy enough to help me with that, but in doing so this support staff member also changed my username/EA ID, for no good reason, and I also did not request that. I asked about that in the chat while I was still live with them and they said: "Don't worry you can change that back yourself when we're done.". I went and tried to change it back to what I had after we finished up our conversation and the email address issue was resolved. However, I was met with "EA ID is already in use". Yeah no **bleep**, that's my username/EA ID and I understand that it might take a little bit to become available again. It was late so I decided to try again the next morning, to no avail. I contacted support again to ask them to change my username/EA ID back to what it was and all I'm getting this time is: "We cannot do that we don't have the tools."... What do you mean you don't have the tools? EA support changed it before and I want it back to what it was, that doesn't seem to be an unreasonable request to me. At some point during the conversation with that support staff member he told me he talked to somebody that would release my username/EA ID so I could change it back to what it was and told me to wait a couple of hours for that to get done. I was happy that they were able to come up with a solution and thanked the support staff member. I tried last night again after waiting more than 4 hours. No luck. Again, I understand it might take some time so I tried to change it again this morning after almost 24 hours and I still can't get it back. In fact, all reasonable variations of my previous EA ID also are unavailable. So I contacted EA Support again and they basically just said, you're **bleep** out of Luck, "We don't have the tools to change your username/EA ID", get **bleep**... I asked for it to be escalated to a superior and they told me they couldn't do that and everyone I would talk to would have the same tools available. I then offered that a superior that could help me could contact me on my email address in my profile but they just closed the chat saying: "Since I have provided you all the necessary guidance, steps and needed information to move forward with your concern, I'll go ahead and end this chat. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with EA Help." Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.10Views0likes0CommentsThe original email on my EA account is unrecoverable, so I can't log in.
Hello, my previous EA account was [edit: email address removed]. This account has been with me for a long time, but now I can't log in because this email has been recycled, so I can't receive verification codes. The email provider can't resolve the issue, so I need to change the email linked to the [edit: email address removed] account. I've spent around 1500 hours playing Apex on this account, so it's really important to me, and I've also purchased other games. I can provide the Steam order number and screenshots from when I bought the game. My EA ID is Niretun2, and my Apex ID on Steam is 何の分離しない. The last time I ran Battlefield V was on August 20th last year, Battlefield 1 was last run on August 28th last year, and the last time I played Apex was also last year, but I can't remember the exact date. It's been a while, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I hope to get my account back quickly. I really need your help, and if you see this, please reply. Thank you very much.29Views0likes2CommentsRule violation in Your EA Account
