Email address domain for EA account is offline
My Xbox account made me create an EA account in order to play certain games. The linked email to my EA that will let me sign in with my Xbox log in, That email is a shut down domain so I can do NOTHING to verify or change my email through my old created account. I would very much like all of my linked Xbox data through EA back ups to then be used for PC and would like to recover all my hours and hard work. I have been at a stand still for getting help and even the account support chat has left me at a stand still. ( I will be checking back in here to see if there is any good help or if EA themselves can reach out easier to help me get this resolved ) [CM edit - adjusted title for clarity]Solved17Views0likes1CommentUnable to unlink Steam account – linked to unknown/hacked EA account
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me or point me to the right support channel. A while ago my Steam account was compromised (hacked). During that time, whoever accessed my account linked it to an EA account that is not mine and that I have no access to or knowledge of (not my email, not my credentials). Now I have recovered my Steam account and I also have my own legitimate EA account, but I can't link them together because: To link my Steam account to my correct EA account, I first need to unlink Steam from the unknown EA account. That unlinking has to be done from the EA account side, but since I don't own or have access to that EA account, I can't do it. As a result, my Steam account stays "stuck" linked to an account that isn't mine, and I can't connect it to my real EA account. Has anyone gone through something similar? Is there a way to request EA support to manually unlink my Steam account from that unknown EA account for security reasons. I tried to create a case several times, but although it shows an ID, no case appears in "my cases" and nobody has ever contacted me. Any guidance on the correct process or who to contact would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!16Views0likes1CommentThe original email on my EA account is unrecoverable, so I can't log in.
Hello, my previous EA account was [edit: email address removed]. This account has been with me for a long time, but now I can't log in because this email has been recycled, so I can't receive verification codes. The email provider can't resolve the issue, so I need to change the email linked to the [edit: email address removed] account. I've spent around 1500 hours playing Apex on this account, so it's really important to me, and I've also purchased other games. I can provide the Steam order number and screenshots from when I bought the game. My EA ID is Niretun2, and my Apex ID on Steam is 何の分離しない. The last time I ran Battlefield V was on August 20th last year, Battlefield 1 was last run on August 28th last year, and the last time I played Apex was also last year, but I can't remember the exact date. It's been a while, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I hope to get my account back quickly. I really need your help, and if you see this, please reply. Thank you very much.Solved41Views0likes3CommentsPenalty History always says “Case not created” — unable to submit an appeal
Hi, I’m posting from a secondary EA account because my main EA account is currently banned and I’m unable to use it to access the forums. I am not asking the forum team to remove or bypass the ban. I’m trying to use the official appeal process, but every attempt through Penalty History ends with the message “Case not created.” No appeal case is generated, so my case cannot enter the Terms of Service review process. I have already contacted EA Live Support under Case #254546115. The advisor verified ownership of the affected account through its original registration email and also tried to update the email address, but the system would not allow the change. I was ultimately told that the matter could only be sent to the Terms of Service team after a successful appeal submission. This leaves me unable to proceed: the appeal must be submitted before ToS can review it, but Penalty History will not create the appeal case. Could a Community Manager please escalate the “Case not created” issue as a technical or account-support problem, or advise how I can get a valid appeal case created through the official process? I can provide the affected account details privately to an authorized EA representative if needed. I will not post any email address, EA ID, verification code, or other private account information publicly. I’ve attached a redacted screenshot of my Live Support case for context. Thank you.Solved22Views0likes1CommentAccount was hacked and EA Help isn't helping
My account was hacked and they changed the email. I reset my password, deleted the trusted devices, and did everything the help page says to do, but I can't change the email back to my email because it was changed too recently. When I reset my password, the hacker changes it again. I have 2 factor authentication on but I think they are bypassing it because their email is on my account. When I try to use the EA help page, it says that my problem is not supported by their advisors. what???? I need a real person to help me change my email back. I have done everything I can do myself. Is there any way to contact EA Help directly, and not the AI chatbot?? A phone number or direct email?38Views1like4CommentsEA support changed my username/EA ID and now doesn't want to change it back.
Approximately a week ago I got hit with a hacking attempt. They managed to get into my EA account but luckily I was able to change my password quick enough that they couldn't do much. The one thing they managed to do before I was able to log them off was change my email address to theirs so they could get back in if needed I guess. Obviously this was a security issue; I wanted to change that email address to one of mine again but couldn't do so because I "recently changed my email address". So I had to contact support to have that done. They were happy enough to help me with that, but in doing so this support staff member also changed my username/EA ID, for no good reason, and I also did not request that. I asked about that in the chat while I was still live with them and they said: "Don't worry you can change that back yourself when we're done.". I went and tried to change it back to what I had after we finished up our conversation and the email address issue was resolved. However, I was met with "EA ID is already in use". Yeah no **bleep**, that's my username/EA ID and I understand that it might take a little bit to become available again. It was late so I decided to try again the next morning, to no avail. I contacted support again to ask them to change my username/EA ID back to what it was and all I'm getting this time is: "We cannot do that we don't have the tools."... What do you mean you don't have the tools? EA support changed it before and I want it back to what it was, that doesn't seem to be an unreasonable request to me. At some point during the conversation with that support staff member he told me he talked to somebody that would release my username/EA ID so I could change it back to what it was and told me to wait a couple of hours for that to get done. I was happy that they were able to come up with a solution and thanked the support staff member. I tried last night again after waiting more than 4 hours. No luck. Again, I understand it might take some time so I tried to change it again this morning after almost 24 hours and I still can't get it back. In fact, all reasonable variations of my previous EA ID also are unavailable. So I contacted EA Support again and they basically just said, you're **bleep** out of Luck, "We don't have the tools to change your username/EA ID", get **bleep**... I asked for it to be escalated to a superior and they told me they couldn't do that and everyone I would talk to would have the same tools available. I then offered that a superior that could help me could contact me on my email address in my profile but they just closed the chat saying: "Since I have provided you all the necessary guidance, steps and needed information to move forward with your concern, I'll go ahead and end this chat. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with EA Help." Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.Solved34Views1like3CommentsI can't access my account because my email address is inactive.
I recently wanted to play Apex Legends using my main Steam account, but I remembered that it’s linked to an old EA account registered with an @ngs.ru email address. That domain was shut down in 2025, so I can't send or receive emails through it. I’ve contacted support multiple times asking for help recovering the account. I provided everything they requested, answered every question I could recall, and even sent proof of purchase for two Battlefield games on Steam; yet, every time, they tell me the information is insufficient or doesn't match up. I’ve sent absolutely everything—both what was required and what wasn't. I tried logging in via Steam, but the result was the same. I simply don't know what to do anymore. Support keeps giving me the same canned responses, and since I can't receive emails at that address, I can't recover the email account itself either. This is my last resort; I hope someone here can help me. I can also send the receipts if needed.32Views0likes1CommentCouldn't submit another appeal, BF6 account get banned for no reason
I am reaching out to see if a Community Manager can help escalate an issue I am experiencing with a permanent ban on Battlefield 6 (PC/Steam). My penalty history page states that the action was taken for "Gameplay enhancement." However, I have never used unauthorized third-party software, cheats, or performance-altering modifications. I strongly believe this is a false positive—potentially triggered by an overlay, hardware software, or a background app conflict on my PC. My previous case (#253236879) was closed on August 31, 2026. I am trying to submit a follow-up appeal to have a specialist manually review my case history, but the standard "Appeal" button is missing or broken on my EA Penalty History dashboard, preventing me from opening a new dispute. Since my account is currently showing a pending state but the system won't let me submit a new statement or context, could a community manager please help pass my details or Case #253236879 along to a specialist on the Terms of Service team for a secondary manual review? Thank you for your time and help with this,15Views1like1Comment
