Ea Won’t Accept My Card Details When Paying

I’ve been trying to pay for multiple extras for sims 4 and its declining my cvv (or csc as they like to call it) number and i keep having to take my card information out and re putting in just to even get passed that error. I’ve spoken to my bank and there is money in my account.

Im A little frustrated as I can’t seem to find out what’s going on.

Please Help, I’ve updated all my card details etc and put in the correct CVV number yet it is declining and my bank said it is to do with EA and not them.

    Please try the following steps to clear up this error:

    • Use a different payment method
    • Make sure your billing details in the EA app match the billing details for your card
    • Remove and re-add your payment method from your account
    • Make sure the location on your account matches your real location

    i have been dealing with the same exact situation can you please tell me how you ended up fixing it?

    I've been using a prepaid card to buy expansion packs, it didn't work as a whole in the EA app so I decided to try directly on the website, which it worked for 6 different packs, but now, it won't allow me to buy anymore when I still have enough funds (and yes I called the compagny of the prepaid card and they have no issues on their side and yes, I removed the payment method to add it again, but still, it won't work either).

    I would like to know if there is any other way I can use this card again (because I've used it 6 times before it stopped working).

  • I fixed it.  Pain in the you know what. After talking to support for 45 minutes, and them repeating the steps everyone here is taking.. He told me I can go to instant gamings website and order it for the same price, purchase (which worked immediately) and them redeem the code and now its downloaded to my EA games App. Very Frustrating.  After finding he was frustrated, and I told him the game was purchased in spanish. Give em' a little panic lol.  EA FIX YOUR ISSUES.
