In order to use Origin at system startup, I made it start minimized in the systray using the /StartClientMinimized parameter. This parameter does not seem to be provided for EALauncher.exe.
Is there any way to start EA Desktop Beta "silently"?
Did you tried the parameter in a shortcut to the actual "EADesktop.exe"?
You also could use Properties > Run > minimized in the shortcut to "EADesktop.exe".
after some testing I found the --silent command argument works!

Now EA app for desktop will always minimize to systray, regardless of which method you use to run it on startup or if you ran the shortcut in your start menu.
