Lost my BF1 Prime Gaming key

I already own Battlefield 1 but I tried to redeem the key that I got from Prime Gaming, I was expecting an error to show up but it didn't and somehow it reedemed the key. No duplicate has appeared an...

    Do you know if the code was a different version of the game though? It would accept it in that case. Our Support team at Help.EA.com can help verify what type of editions were granted from a code.

I don't use the Origin app anymore but I checked and the game appears duplicated. Guess I've lost the key, right? I don't know if it's a bug of EA Desktop or if it normally works like that but I find sad that it doesn't count with the feature of not letting you activate a game if you already have it.
