Re: Adding my Adult Sister to my EA Family

Hi @MarySunshine23,

While I understand where you're coming from, sharing your EA account with others, including family members, is something we strongly advise against, particularly the sections about account sharing and unauthorized distribution of content. According to our terms, accounts are intended for individual use, and sharing login details, games, or content across multiple people violates the terms, even if you are close family members. Here's a breakdown of what you're dealing with:

  1. Account Sharing: We strongly advise against sharing an account with anyone else, including family members, even if you've purchased the content. The terms are clear that each individual should have their own EA account. See https://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section1.

  2. Family Sharing: We (at the moment, but thanks for the feedback) do not have a family-sharing system like some other platforms (e.g., Steam). Each person needs their own account and must purchase separate copies of the game or content to use them. See https://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section2.

  3. Faking Birthdate: Creating fake information, such as birthdates, is also something we strongly advise against when setting up an account. Even if it's for practical reasons, doing so could lead to account issues later. See https://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section1.

See here for more information: https://www.ea.com/legal.

Hope this helps.

but there's family sharing in ps5 you can littally share fc25 with your friend, is EA being based or what, we deserve family sharing, you can make it so the shared content is missing and they need to buy the game for full content, this would be the best solution to fight off the cracked versions of ea games, and you know if they already have a cracked version it just needs someone invested enough in that to make their own server, I think the benefits of family sharing out weights it's drawbacks.
