Re: EA app download speed is too low

Hello! I’m having an issue with the EA Play app on my alaptop (HP Victus Gaming 16). My download speeds are stuck at 3-4 MB/s even though I’ve set the app to “unlimited” in the settings. My internet connection is faster than this, the download speed is around 30 MB — Im certain about that I usually get much higher speeds on other platforms like Steam, so I know it’s not my network.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Cleared the EA Play app cache.
• Repaired the EA Play app.
• Restarted the EA Play app
• Restarted my laptop.
• Check for Windows and driver updates (everything is up to date).
• Confirmed no other apps are hogging bandwidth (via Task Manager).

My system specs :

• OS: Windows 11
• SSD: PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2
• RAM: 16 GB

• EA Play App: Latest version

Has anyone else experienced this slow download problem? Any fixes or suggestions? Could this be a server-side issue on EA’s end? Thanks in advance for any help!
