Are you able to launch the game this way?
- Browse to the folder where the game was installed.
- Right-click on the executable and choose Run as Administrator.
- Use the computer administrator's user name and password if asked.
I tried that already before I posted and didn't work

@emeraldassassin1 What about compatibility mode? Right-clicking on the game's shortcut and visit properties>launch it in an older operating system. For CnC Remastered, the .exe start EA Play, and tell me the game needs admin right.
There is no way to manually start the game

Can you try lowering the User Access Control settings?
- Close EA Desktop
- Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field.
- In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available.
- Click Okay the bottom of the window.
- Open the EA Desktop client and try launching the game again.
I just tested with UAC at lowest, same behavior.
The only difference is that now EA Play don't display a prompt before opening. But the game still ask for permission.

Are you able to launch the game from a different Windows user account? I want to see if it's Windows account based.
I logged with my wife account in Windows, lauched EA Play, input my name & password, lauched the game, same thing. Ask for admin right.

Do you know if the game folder is read only?
To change the read-only attribute, follow these steps: Right-click the file or folder icon.
Remove the check mark by the Read Only item in the file's Properties dialog box.
The attributes are found at the bottom of the General tab.
Right now my main EA Folder in my D drive is Read Only, will change it and test.
Also, I tested the game Unravel 2, work perfectly and don't ask anything. Jade Empire ask for permission for me also
I removed the Read Only, same problem. Also the folder return to Read Only
I noticed that my game folder, on D drive, that only the admin has total control. User don't. I tried to change the setting, as I am an admin, but at the same time a user, and all games I have installed refused to change.

Is there any way you can install EA Desktop and the game on the C drive to see if you encounter the same error? This way we can verify it's drive related. I deleted the game and resinstalled in the the default EA play directory (Program Files/ EA Games).
Unfortunatly, same behavior. The game still ask for permission.

@Retsushi Are the games located on the same drive for EA Desktop and Origin? I don't have Origin.
Normally EA Desktop is on C drive, games are on D.
I have tested a few games, 3 are now installed.
Jade Empire & C&C ask for Admin privileges, while Unravel 2 start right away.
I installed C&C and put it also on C drive, game ask for Admin. It open a command prompt, if I say yes game start, no game exit.
I know it's not related, but Xbox GamePass had the same behavior in the beginning. Many games asked for Admin rights. Now they start right away, on D drive
Unravel 2 the EXE start the game, while the others game the EXE start EA Play.

We've let the team know about this, thank you all for reporting it.
Are you all able to launch the game if you manually create a desktop shortcut for the game you're not able to play? Once creating the shortcut, try right-clicking on that and run it as administrator.
Locate the game's .EXE file under the folder you have it located on your PC and right-click>Create Shortcut. I just tested the shortcut thing, same behavior. It lauches EA Desktop and ask for admin privileges.

I just tested it myself with a few games, after you get the message that you need admin privileges and press OK, then another pop-up appears asking if you allow the app to make changes to the PC.
After pressing Yes, I was able to launch the games without any issues.
I know, but it is not a normal behavior.
I don't really get why the game need a command prompt to start.

Well these are older games and what's normal now, might have been different in the past.
Does it work after pressing Yes @Retsushi?
Yes it always worked this way.
It's just when I want to play a game, I expect it to be more user friendly.
Command & Conquer Remastered is not that old and have this problem.
And Microsoft fixed the same issue with GamePass PC. Old game like Age of Empire asked for admin before, they don't need them anymore.
So it can be fixed.
I just hope EA fix this minor issue too.
- @EA_Jason The second pop-up doesn't happen for me.
I get game failed to launch then a crash report pops up and recommends restarting the app.
I was able to play Crysis 3 after I initially installed it but ever since the second time I booted it up it hasn't worked. Thanks for the reply, hopefully they fix it soon.
