@danisoff This does not answer my question.
If you follow the guide and go to report a player you get the report options that I already listed - there is no option to report a player for abuse/harassment via the in-game chat.
Do you have a picture of the chat or any proof of the harassment?
If you are able to provide proof, then you should directly speak to an EA advisor to manually report the abuse.

@terrifictrousers If you want to report someone abusive then I suggest filling a report with EA Help: (https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/)
Click on your product/Game
Then select your platform
Report Concerns or Harassment
Report Player
From there you should be able to fill out the form which will be sent to the ToS team for investigation.Remember to include all applicable information needed to investigate the claim including a screenshot, if you have it on hand.
This is the only available method to report an abusive person over an EA game.
If the messages were sent via PSN or Xbox messaging then you'll need to report it directly to PSN or Xbox.
@danisoff
I don't have any screenshots, it was via the in-game chat, so there should be chat logs of it.It seems like EAs report system is not fit for purpose, since it doesn't cover one of the most common instances of abuse/harassment.
- @terrifictrousers That's fine you should still be able to report such report and provide as much information as possible on it.
