How is that fair to people who have been sharing an account for years since we were kids? My dad bought me and my sister The Sims 4 on one Origin account since we were kids and we literally have every single expansion, stuff and game pack. Are we just expected to spend thousands of dollars on another set of the game? How ridiculous, selfish and money hungry can one company be? EA doesn't listen to literally anything that it's users ask for/ complain about when they keep churning out broken, half finished games, and how when I want to play it kicks my sister out of the game? If it's a breach of the EA TOS then the offline mode in Origin shouldn't have been a thing to begin with. There is literally no reason that there shouldn't be at least an offline mode implemented into the new app. This is exactly why everyone either uses Steam or doesn't play at all anymore.
Exactly.. How can a company tell people that they cannot share an account in the same household?? How am I not allowed to play a game at the same time as someone in the room directly next to me, that we have both spent money on, especially for games like The Sims 4 that have net us *thousands* of dollars? It's absolutely ridiculous the lengths companies like EA will take to reduce password sharing, that they end up losing money. It'd be a hell of a lot easier to go download TS4 with all packs from some other website for no charge than to repurchase each and every single one, all because companies like EA cannot fathom people in the same house sharing a product. I'm just going to go back to The Sims 2, there was none of this password sharing BS back then.
- @EA_Darko Yes it was for many years as long as one computer had origin off-line it was fine. This is complete bs, since this new ea app their has been nothing but issues, myself and my family will not be purchasing any more content from EA or through its app. It's 2023 EA, get with the times like steam has done!

That is stupid af. So, I can't play my LEGITIMATELY PURCHASED copies of Sims 3 and Sims 4 at the same time on my two computer? What the hell, EA? Y'all are overreaching.
