Refund Request

Hello,

I recently purchased an EA play subscription but decided to get a refund. So I read about the refund policies and knew that I had to request the refund within a limited time period. So knowing this went ahead and requested on the same day of purchase. Hadn't even played anything even. I opened up a case told them all about the reason for the refund. A day later I received an email saying EA has received the request and that they are working on it. 2 days pass by and there was no update. I asked them for an update and after a day i received another email, this time by another rep saying that the case will be handled by him. After 3 more days I received another email now again by another rep saying the same thing. 

1 week passed by and I was just getting transferred from one representative to the next and noone did anything to solve the issue. I didn't blame anyone as I just thought it was in process. After almost another week i get an update on my case saying to speak with a rep through live chat. So I do that. I open the website open up a live chat box. After having a chat with her she says that the request can't be processed as the timeframe has been exceeded for the refund. Now I had requested it on the same day but because of the reps I just went in circles. She says that they were not able to verify my account. Which doesn't make sense and neither did I get any email from anyone for verification. 

Now long story short she says that the time frame has been exceeded and refund can't be processed. EA is jus trying to blame me even though I helped them with every information they wanted. I just wanted to know if there is anything to be done. As I think this is not fair to a consumer. After I do everything according to your guidelines I am still the one getting blamed for this issue.
