I have EA's Mass Effect and Sims 4 games installed on my PC's C drive. What I'm trying to do is transfer the programs and saves to a new external device (D drive) so I can continue to click on the C drive icons (EA, ME & Sims) to access the games. How do I do that? Thanks in advance.(I've scrolled through previous posts. The more I read, the more confusing the instructions became. I was able to move other Steam games successfully using Steam's instructions.)

Could it be as simple as uninstalling the programs (but not the saves) from the C drive, reinstalling the program on the C drive with the external D device as the destination, then moving the old C save files to the D device? (I don't want to lose settings or any saves.)
