Two EA icons on taskbar

I just did the most recent EA App update and it's making me wish I didn't.

I'm very particular about how my icons are on my taskbar. I want certain icons to be in certain places and not to move.

Meaning, I pin the ones I want in specific spots to the taskbar so they are always where I want them to be.

With this update to the EA App I can no longer do that with EA App and there is no reason I can think of that it needed to be done.

It's like they split the program to launch the EA App and the EA App up into 2 separate programs and made the EA App icon show NOTHING when you right click on it. Meaning I can't pin it to the taskbar.

Meaning if anything closes the app when I reopen it, it will not be where I want it.

Steam doesn't do this. Origin didn't do this. EA App didn't do this when it first launched.

Why does it do this now?

I should not need to have 2 EA App icons on my task bar in order be able to launch the EA App from my task bar and not the start menu or desktop.

Putting it here because I'm not sure if this is a bug or misguided feature.

@Seera1024 I reinstalled the EA App to test this out. When I reinstall and pin it, I open it and it does the same thing. Microsoft has threads on this with not just the EA App but in general. Not all apps have been updated to be compatible with that taskbar feature in the newer Windows builds. I appreciate the feedback and will certainly pass this along to the team for you.
