"We found one or more linked accounts
Hi,
I'm trying to sign into my EA Account on the EA Desktop, but I keep getting the following message:
We found one or more linked accounts
The EA Account is already linked to the following Xbox account(s):
• (MyXboxID)
You can switch your Xbox account or continue with a different EA Account. For more info, visit help.ea.com.
I'm using the credentials I'm using to sign in here, and it shows in my linked account...but I show two Xbox accounts linked, my genuine gamertag, and one I had about 13 years ago as a test...somehow it's also linked, and it seems to be blocking my ability to sign into EA Desktop. I've gone through the steps listed in EA's documentation to unlink accounts, but there is no "unlink" button on my browser under the Connected Accounts tab, tried on a couple of different browsers...has the process to unlink changed? I just want to be rid of the old account so only my actual gamertag is linked. Anyone else having this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @PGen98
If you want to unlink your Xbox account and don't have the option to do it in your EA account settings, then you will need to speak with an EA adviser so they can verify details with you and unlink those account for you.
You can contact an EA adviser here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/
And more info about linking/unlinking accounts can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/Hey @UncleSmoothie
You can go into your EA account and see what console accounts you have linked here: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index
If your accounts are linked just fine then you might be experiencing an issue with Xbox Game Pass not connecting properly to EA Desktop, this has been a big problem for many people since it all released this past week or so.
