When will the offline mode be implemented, if ever at all?

Greetings. Gaming is my hobby, I spend quite a lot on it. And it is frustrating when something this basic as a working offline mode is still not implemented. At this point it has to be deliberate.

Before any of "just turn offline mode after login" suggestions - not everyone of us, working people, has access to Internet 24/7. A lot of us work in remote, dangerous areas. Some of us are born in "wrong" places. Some are simply struggling.

I for one am a sailor. I do not have an Internet the absolute majority of time (99.9%). Do I just give up on my hobby? Or job? I just want to enjoy things I paid for. How can I prove without Internet that I indeed own the game? Origin stopped working for me.

If there's no definitive answer to my questions (as to if and when an offline mode will appear), what options do I as a sailor have? Maybe there's some cd or whatever I could buy, or idk, something?..
