Why am I getting forced to install EA App?
every time i open origin it softlocks me into a window that suggests to install ea app. now i thought okay its forcing me to install this must be a good reason but no. i log in with the right account...

Day #3 I'm still not able to login to the new EA App that replaced Origin. I can't even just go back to just using Origin. I'm starting to lose my patience with EA. Every time they they've done something, something else gets messed up. Please fix this, as the weekend is almost over and I still haven't been able to go on game.
Well I don't know if it were this or that, but last night I was finally able get on game. No more complaints from this EA gamer mom🙂
Eventually I got it working.
it took me 4 installation attempts , used Lutris, and some Linux voodoo that I cant even remember now - I just compared installation files - and then did some copypasta - it eventually worked after 3 hours frustration, thanks EA....I figured others would have an issue too ....funny how it seemed just to affect those of us on the night. . . .
