@holger1405 This isn't a issue on our end, it's how the ea desktop app was built and I'm sure that's how is intended to work. I've tried multiple times running as administrator and I've tried from different PCs but the problem still persists. We are all experiencing this problembbecause they purposely designed the app that way, they want us to log in each time for security measures. But as everyone is saying, they need to change it asap, this app is not user friendly at all.
For me the "Keep me signed in" function works for at lest several days in a row.

If I have the "keep me signed in" box checked, EA app just immediately closes itself after I enter my user and pw and hit the button to login. If unchecked, EA logs me in as normal, and everything works, though of course this doesn't save my credentials.
I only game on a box that sits mostly untouched, and is set to launch all of its update apps overnight. If I can't automate launching the EA app, I won't buy any games on EA platform, simple as that -- I don't hate EA or their app, I'm not a fanboy for any service, if you have a working platform and best price, I will buy games from your platform instead of the other. In this regard, I can launch EA games bought on steam, from the steam interface no problem. Sad.

Try an app recovery.
In EA app > Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner > Help > App recovery > Clear cache

thanks for suggestion but I've tried this previously. Also deleted the whole thing and reinstalled, all the obvious trouble-shooting first and second steps. Just gonna buy EA games from steam store til EA updates their app with a fix. Been this way for over a year though, not holding my breath.
