Re: [INFO REQUEST] Error Code: EC:10005 In EA app

I have tried since 2024 to play the sims on the EA App and had no luck, so gave up. We changed our router and have even moved house since the error code 10005 has appeared out of nowhere and I have done everything I can possibly do, EA are terrible to communicate with and there is no obvious phone number to call. I've cleared the cache many times, uninstalled the app multiple times and even turned it off and on again! I've tried opening it using a different account, nothing is working and I've paid £100's to play Sims 4 and I can't even enjoy playing. Someone, please help me, I'll even give out my phone number and someone can facetime me whilst I show them what happens. It is insane and I just want to be able to play the game.

    Sorry to hear that there have been difficulties getting back to your game.

    I've merged your post into the main thread for this issue. The pinned comment has some steps we'd like you to follow to help us investigate this issue. 

    In the meantime, if you haven't already, please try going through as many of the connectivity troubleshooting steps on this page as you can to see if there's any improvement. If you have a McAfee extension, disabling that before restarting the EA app seemed to fix the EC:10005 error for some. Thanks!
