Cant login

I cannot login to the EA App. A few hours ago I did a support chat with EA and after waiting a few minutes for their response they concluded it was a bug after they spoke with their team. They were going to report it so it gets fixed. I have changed my password, logged into ea and reverified my account with email. I also redownloaded the app and restarted my Mac numerous times. My Mac is new and only a couple days old. I ran the app the last couple days and had no issues. I left it running like I always do minimized last night and it was closed this morning. I am stuck on the small screen that says EA app wants to make changes. Enter your password to allow. I do get error EC 106 it's only if I cancel since I can't proceed with password. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
