[INFO REQUEST] Error Code: EC:10005 In EA app
For days now, I’ve been reaceiving this error code on my PC. I repaired the EA App, uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked my Norton firewall, reset my router, ran as Administrator and tried other fixes, but the error persists. I went to buy The Sims 3 Seasons pack through the EA app, after verifying my security code it said there was an error purchasing the pack but then I get a notification on my phone saying I've just spent £1 at EA. Buying what exactly if the full payment didn't go through? I triple checked my details - all correct and tried a second time just to figure out if I'd made a mistake the first time. Another £1 off my card gone. I don't know if there's a direct support email I can go to to get a refund and find out how to fix this so I can get the pack but if there is, I want to know why or how this happened. I have multiple add-ons. My game was frozen and i uninstalled the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack and City Living just to see if anything worked, but nothing seemed to happen. Then i exited the game and started it again, only to see that those two packs were uninstalled. I installed them again, clicked on "repair" countless times, manually uninstalled & installed them again, and cleared cache. This all happened while not using any mods, so it cant be that messing it up. I dont know what to do. When i click on "manage add-ons" nothing is out of the ordinary and its says the packs are installed.Status is set to 'Online' instead of 'In-game' when launching a game on EA App
Hello everyone, Since last night, I have been going through an issue with EA App not being able to recognize status while running any game. Which means, my status is set to 'Online', instead of switching to 'In-game'. I have tried every possible workaround to get it working, such as: clearing app cache logging out and back in repaired my games refreshed the app None of the above methods I tried works. This issue took place with other statuses as well, other than 'Online'. For example, manually switching status to 'Away' while launching any game. I am not sure if it's network connection related. However, I have a stable network connection. It took place last night, last time I encountered the 'in-game' status was a few days ago. I'm on a Windows 11 64-bit laptop, specs are: 16GB RAM/512GB SSD drive/AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS CPU Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated. Almost every time I start my computer, EA Play Launcher forces me to log into my account again, contrary to the fact that I click the "stay online" or "remember this computer" or whatever checkbox every time. I usually log in through my linked steam account because it's faster, although your service makes me get a verification code emailed to me every time. Tried to log into the ea app but it basically said my password was wrong. I logged into the website with the same password, it worked. I changed the password and even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Still didn't work. The new password still works on online but doesn't on the app. I also double checked to make sure the username is correct. Definitely not the issue. I have no suspended or banned cases. So I am having a very strange problem. I bought 3 packs, Toddler stuff, Kids room stuff, and parenthood. I was able to download them fine. Then one day they randomly were not downloaded. I went to the EA app and queued them up to download but it said there was an "Unexpected issue" and to try again later. So I did and the same thing happened again and again and again. Flash forward a few months, now when I try to download them it says I don't have access since I "don't own the game' and i have the go to the game hub to get the game. I am still able to play the game and all my other packs work just fine, even ones I bought after those 3. I don't know what to do and I really just want my packs back.Solved1.5KViews1like78Comments
