No Manage Option
HI guys, I've been trying to repair my Sims 4 because I've been having some issues with it, but anytime I go to try and find the manage option, it's gone. I've completely closed and reopened the app, and the option is only there for a split second before it disappears, does anyone know how to fix this?EA Avatar Not Uploading
For some reason i am not able to upload a custom EA avatar to replace my avatar from the gallery. I have no idea why i can't and other users can. There should be an option to "choose from gallery" and to "upload custom image" but the option to upload is just gone. Please help. I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? Someone help before I blow my top. I haven't played sims in years ever since the failure I thought sims 4 was so I stayed loyal to sims 3. I just jumped on a 3 day binge after years of a hiatus. Last I played was when EA had just eliminated Origin. Clearly, this has created nothing but a mess and I have nothing but distain for the EA app. When I log into my EA app, everything is in working order. My sims 3 base game appears and my TWENTY expansion packs all appear under the "manage add-ons" drop down... AS THEY SHOULD! HOWEVER! For whatever reason when I go to play and it jumps to the game launcher, only FIVE of my TWENTY expansion appears for me to choose to play from. For the last few days I have settled for it, but I am missing so much from not being able to access the expansion packs I want! I have spent two days, formed several fists, officially sent a report to EA and continue to go down the rabbit hole of forums and reddit posts to fix the problem and NOTHING is working. What I have heard working for other people is for some reason not working for me. After two days I finally found where to "re" download the origin app and it won't let me open after download claiming it "cannot connect to internet." Now with the origin downloaded, my EA app greyed out the play button for Sims, meaning I cannot access my game at all with the Origin app on my PC. So I either trouble shoot the origin app in hopes that I gain access to all of my games by forcing the use of the OG app... or I uninstall it and figure out how to work with EA app despite my hatred for the forced change in launchers. For days now, I’ve been reaceiving this error code on my PC. I repaired the EA App, uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked my Norton firewall, reset my router, ran as Administrator and tried other fixes, but the error persists. This has never happened before, and it only affects the EA App—my Steam games run without issue. Ive spent the better part of the last 2 hours between watching youtube tutorials and FAQs trying to figure out why the EA app will NOT open. it will boot up the sign in screen 1/5 attempts and then crash immediately after. Hey everyone, I’m trying to subscribe to EA Play Pro through the EA App/Website, but every time I try to complete the payment, I get this message: “Your request could not be processed. We couldn’t verify your credit or debit card.” I’m using a Mastercard and a Visa, and I’ve already tried a few things: Checked that all my card info (number, expiration date, CVV, billing address) is correct. Contacted my bank — they confirmed that online and international payments are enabled. Waited and retried later. Made sure 3D Secure (SMS verification) is active. Despite all this, the payment still fails. I’m based in Morocco, so I’m wondering if this could be a regional or currency issue with the EA App, or if there’s another workaround. Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 6 and now Battlefield 4 all don't launch and revert back to the EA app. However, I found out that if I play on a guest Windows PC account then both games launch but I can't play on my main Windows PC account? Is there any way to fix or go around this? I've had my EA account since 2008 and was really looking forward to Battlefield 6. I even pre-ordered it, played the beta, and grinded to level 3. The next day, I woke up to an email saying my account was temp banned. I have been gaming for years and have never used cheats or anything like that. I did not even use a headset in the beta, so it could not have been because I used inappropriate language. I sent an appeal earlier this week just to see if it would be "transferred" almost 10 times now. I know for a fact this is happening to others. EA's new anti-cheat system has banned a ton of people, which is amazing if they are really cheating, but I'm seeing posts from people just like this one saying they have no idea why they were banned. I made this new account, and I'm going to try to get back on the beta today, but I'm nervous I'll just get banned again. I'm on Xbox with official Xbox equipment. What's frustrating is that I had unlocked all the beta items and now they won't carry over. Unless my account gets unbanned. The most disappointing part is the fear that when the full comes out, I might invest hours into it only to be banned again for no reason.
