[INFO REQUEST] Error Code: EC:10005 In EA app
For days now, I’ve been reaceiving this error code on my PC. I repaired the EA App, uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked my Norton firewall, reset my router, ran as Administrator and tried other fixes, but the error persists. This has never happened before, and it only affects the EA App—my Steam games run without issue. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP!!5.9KViews19likes197Comments[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.16KViews40likes393CommentsEA App in full window issue
I can open the EA app in full without a game going. If i open a game and need to min window and use the ea app i cannot get it to open like before. Only thing i can do is full screen game window then use the app overlay. I dont like this. I used to be able to and for various reasons it was useful.Mac EA app - "Something went wrong" - Error EC:106 on EA app for Mac

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "You don't have access" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLCs, or when trying to launch one of your games via the EA app (exact errors shown below). You don't have access Whether you bought it from us, claimed it via EA Play (Pro) via the EA app, EA Play for Steam, or EA Play through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (XGPU), or bought it on another platform like Steam or Epic, we appreciate you letting us know about these issues. Troubleshooting the error If you are encountering this error, it could be due to one or more of the following reasons: You previously played a trial version of the game that has now expired. Please verify if your EA Play membership is still valid. You are signed in with the wrong account in the EA app, Steam, or Epic Games. Make sure you are using the correct account(s) for all relevant clients. Instead of launching the game through the partner (Steam/Epic Games) launcher, you are using a direct desktop shortcut. We kindly remind you to launch EA games purchased through Steam or Epic Games only via those platforms. This ensures proper synchronization of your account and entitlements. Check if any antivirus, anti-malware, or similar programs are blocking the game, the EA app, or Steam/Epic Games. It's important to understand that this scenario can also be triggered by a valid, temporary issue. When or if this happens, we will confirm this in the thread. Please see the 'Resolved TEMPORARY Outages Resulting in the Same Error' section below for further details. Additional steps: Perform an EA app App Recovery in EA app. Open EA app menu (top left) --> Help --> App recovery. Perform a repair of the game in Steam or Epic. Steam: right-click on the game in Steam --> Properties --> Local files --> Verify Integrity of Game Files. Epic: click the three dots on the right side of the game line --> Manage --> Verify. Launch the game from Steam or Epic. If you have already thoroughly checked the above information and are still experiencing the error, please read further. To help us investigate To help us investigate, please provide as much detail as possible about the error. Without it, it's tough for our teams to identify the potential cause(s). I can't seem to find a solution. It hasn't ever happened in like 3 years but suddenly half the time I go to play it gives me ec:10502 error and says I've connected from too many devices in 24 hours. There is some stuff about it from 5 years ago in the forums but the solutions don't seem to work any more. Anyone have any luck with a workaround? So, yesterday, I was having trouble with my browser where it all of a sudden crashed and was unable to open. In an attempt to fix it, I was uninstalling and reinstalling it a couple of times. This caused my computer to crash. When it restarted and turned back on, I noticed my EA App had the generic white page for the desktop shortcut instead of the usual logo. Pretty sure this happened to me before, so I tried to uninstall it but that wouldn't even work. So I went to the EA Installer to repair it and it uninstalled but couldn't reinstall. I got this error message that I couldn't find anywhere. Like no one else has EVER gotten this error message in the history of this app or something. The error message in question is: INST-3-1723. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is. The only thing I can think of is that I have to delete the EA Desktop and Electronic Arts folders in the Program Files manually (as both are now empty). But I didn't want to do that until I knew for sure that's what I had to do, hence why I came here. Mainly so I didn't mess things up further or something. Any help and advice would be very much appreciated. Attached is a picture of the error message. Edit: It is resolved. I downloaded a new version of the installer. Downloaded the app, and now it works.
